The Opportunity
EZ STAK is seeking an experienced, conscientious Finance Manager to join the company's Finance team based out of our Watertown, NY office.
Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will ensure financial accuracy, reporting compliance, and cash flow management while optimizing financial processes.
The Finance Manager will provide leadership and oversight for Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring efficiency and alignment with financial goals. Additionally, the Finance Manager provide backup support for the Controller, managing financial oversight and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-End & Year-End Closing: Ensure timely reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
- Regulatory & Tax Compliance: Assist in tax filings, audits, and financial risk assessments.
- Financial Policy & Controls: Maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies.
- Payroll & Benefits Oversight: Support payroll processing, reconciliations, and reporting as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy, reporting, and decision-making.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, budget reports, and variance analyses.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and financial planning processes.
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor and manage company cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity and investment planning.
- Financial Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls. Coordinate with auditors.
- Cost Control & Financial Strategy: Identify cost-saving opportunities, assess profitability, and support strategic initiatives.
- Process Improvement & Systems Optimization: Enhance financial workflows, drive automation, and ensure ERP system effectiveness.
- Leadership & Oversight of AP & AR:
- Provide coaching and mentorship to the AP & AR team.
- Ensure AP & AR processes align with business goals and financial best practices.
- Monitor AP/AR aging reports, address overdue balances, and enhance collection strategies.
- Implement and oversee process improvements, automation, and system integrations
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Commerce or Business, with a specialization in Finance
- 5 years of experience in a financial management capacity

Renumeration
EZ STAK offers a robust total compensation program inclusive of benefits, RRSP or 401(k) matching, competitive base salary and bonus structure. Base salary will be commensurate with experience.
