Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with program and project sponsors to identify and prioritize initiatives at the division level.
- Establish and execute a governance framework for the DPH data modernization program.
- Partner with business and IT leaders to develop and prioritize efforts, creating a modernization roadmap for DPH.
- Identify data needs and oversee activities required for the creation of necessary dashboard visualizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate plans for delivering business intelligence solutions, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Develop business cases and cost-benefit analyses for prioritized initiatives within the program.
- Secure various DHHS and state approvals for project initiation within the program.
- Contribute to the creation of Statements of Work (SOW) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) in conjunction with business and agency teams.
- Manage multiple vendor engagements and establish key requirements for cross-functional teams.
- Work alongside other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across various projects.
- Oversee budget and funding channels to maximize productivity.
- Track, maintain, and present program details, progress, and risks to senior and executive management.
- Collaborate with Project Portfolio Managers and Project Managers to maintain program-level data across multiple initiatives and communicate effectively.
- Manage resource allocations and expectations for the program.
- Partner with the State DIT to ensure compliance with the State IT Roadmap and security requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and advocate for a strategic vision in data and data management.
- Extensive experience in program management, particularly with complex technology initiatives.
- Familiarity with modern data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and relational databases.
- Demonstrated capability to thrive in a technically diverse environment with various products and services.
- Experience with both on-site and cloud-based database solutions.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects with varying timelines and priorities.
- Ability to identify and implement corrective actions for system and service quality improvements.
- Knowledge or experience in Agile methodologies is advantageous.
