Receptionist/ Clinical Support Staff

Family Recovery Center is hiring a friendly organized individual to become a member of our support staff. This is a full-time position (40 hours a week).

Location

This position is located in 1010 North 6th Street, Steubenville, Ohio.

Responsibilities

Greet clients, relay messages, and accept client payments.

Provide various in-office support to staff:

  • Type any correspondence, forms, proposals, and documents (including confidential material) of the agency.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as copying and collating.
  • Prepare new and revise forms when needed by the clinical department.
  • Sort and distribute mail daily.

Answer phones:

  • Direct calls according to level of urgency.
  • Refers any crisis call to appropriate counselor, and then assists as necessary.
  • Obtain information required for completion of phone demo when the client calls and enter accurate information into the Cerner software program.
  • Schedule appointments

Manage client records:

  • Assist with the filing/scanning of chart work
  • Maintain the files per established procedures
  • Scan file into electronic health record
  • Edit file from electronic health record.
  • Scan and file documentation into client charts.

Complete Client Intake Interviews:

  • Review client’s fee income, reductions to income, family size and any pertinent information to determine a fee percentage based on the sliding scale.
  • Complete all intake paperwork required and input all required information into the client’s record.

Skills

Successful candidates must:

Have excellent communication and organization skills

Possess computer literacy

  • Experience operating Cerner is a plus

Have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Computer skills: 5 years (Required)
  • Customer service: 3 years (Required)
