Quality Control Specialist

Farrell Insulation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. As a QC Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting installations, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that all work aligns with company and industry standards. This position requires the ability to travel to various job sites and stay overnight when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Conduct thorough inspections of job sites to ensure installations meet Farrell Insulation standards and industry guidelines.
• Identify deficiencies or areas requiring improvement and provide actionable feedback to teams.
• Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of site inspections, including photos, reports, and corrective actions taken.
• Track quality performance metrics and prepare reports for management to review.
• Assist in the development and refinement of quality control processes and protocols.
• Training and Support:
• Provide guidance and training to installers and field staff to improve quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with teams to address recurring quality issues and develop preventive measures.
• Serve as a resource for teams on quality standards and best practices.
• Travel and Field Work:
• Travel to job sites across North Carolina and neighboring states as required.
• Stay overnight when necessary based on project locations and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience:
• 3 years of experience in insulation installation, construction, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in quality control or site inspections is a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify quality issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with field teams and management.
• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional certifications in quality control, safety, or construction management are a plus.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.
• Flexibility to work variable hours depending on project demands.
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform on-site inspections in various weather conditions.

Work Environment

• Job sites may include indoor and outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.
• Travel to multiple locations is required, with overnight stays based on project schedules.
• Position may require extended hours during peak project periods.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
