About the Role:
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyzing, prioritizing, and resourcing action items that drive Key Performance Indicator’s for the business unit team.
- Lead ideation sessions and develop preliminary projects by providing estimates on cost and savings. Provide analysis to support business unit cost savings, innovation.
- Deploy FOX strategic methodologies, systems, and tools, such as autonomous maintenance, reliability maintenance, 5S, breakdown elimination, SMED, kaizens, value stream mapping, etc. to deliver business unit objectives.
- Through data analysis, identify and troubleshoot chronic and sporadic losses by engaging and collaborating with hourly personnel and supervisors. Drive losses to zero using statistical process control and FOX principles.
- Provide tracking and regular communication to various plant functions and teams regarding FOX methodologies and work systems.
- Integrate system health and project monitoring into current structure (SIM meetings) to ensure sustainability of improvements.
- Promote a change in culture within the business unit – especially at the frontline level.
- Utilize autonomous maintenance systems and tools to deliver a reduction in minor stops.
- Utilize reliability maintenance systems and tools to deliver a reduction in breakdowns
- Drive restoration to base condition of bottleneck equipment through autonomous maintenance and reliability maintenance execution (CILs, centerlines, defect handling, 5S, visual management, etc.)
- Identify and implement technology improvements.
- Build capability by developing and executing training for their business unit on FOX methodologies, Ferrero work processes, systems, and tools.
- Participate in the development and execution of capital projects in the role of ‘Start-up Leader”.
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, technical or related business field.
- 4 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment; experience in food manufacturing a plus
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Well-practiced influencing skills
- Excellent planning and priority management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to manage complexity
- Proven ability to lead cross functional teams across all levels of the organization.
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects (FOX, Six Sigma, LEAN/TPM, IWS, HPO).
- Experience in design of experiments.
- Experience in leading capital and/or maintenance projects
