Lead AP Analyst - Up to $85k 15% bonus
Leading chemical manufacturer is looking to hire a Lead Accounts Payable Analyst. This client is requiring 8 years of high volume AP, as well as SAP and OpenText workflow. ***1 to 2 days onsite
Description:
- Oversee and execute the full accounts payable process.
- Prepare, review, and approve weekly payment runs and exception payments as needed.
- Resolve payment issues, including rejections and returns, and manage foreign payment allocations.
- Analyze vendor accounts, address outstanding balances, and approve write-off recommendations.
- Administer and enforce the Travel & Expense (T&E) policy in line with the Global Travel Policy.
- Process, audit, and reconcile employee expense reports, resolving discrepancies and tracking unreconciled charges.
- Maintain and update the T&E SharePoint portal and related spreadsheets.
- Prepare and submit quarterly T&E accounting accruals.
- Support the legal team with finance forecasting and tasks in Legal Tracker.
- Manage 1099MISC/NEC filing and reporting to vendors and the IRS.
- Review, approve, and establish employee vendor master records in SAP, including banking updates in collaboration with Procurement.
- Maintain and update process documentation; create new documents as required.
- Generate and analyze monthly accounts payable and T&E reports.
- Lead and provide guidance for resolving complex issues and improving departmental processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- 8 years of AP
- SAP experience required
- OpenText required
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
