Job Title: Commercial Association Manager
Reports to: Senior Association Manager
SUMMARY
The Commercial Association Manager will work with senior leadership to ensure that company objectives are met and will provide stellar guidance and leadership to all those within their sphere of influence, both internal and external, while consistently adhering to and perpetuating the mission and vision of the company.
The Commercial Association Manager will be responsible for strategically managing client relationships by providing key business insights and expertise on client situations that will ultimately drive loyalty, profitability, and long-term client retention. The Commercial Association Manager will be self-accountable, professional, responsive, ethical and organized.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees a portfolio of commercial properties (primarily or exclusively commercial associations) across multiple states
- Must be in or around the Dallas / Fort Worth area, in order to be able to inspect properties, meet with vendors for site walks, meet with clients, etc.
- Reports to an Association Manager based on another region of Texas
- Partners with leadership to bring on new business, including engaging with and presenting to prospective clients in person and virtually
- Interacts with clients during the phasing and turnover of commercial property management assignments to ensure proper annexation, account set-up, account management, client communication, and other duties related to the transitioning of a new commercial association
- Executes on relationship management activities to identify client issues and opportunities and develops detailed action plans to improve the property and client relationship, with special attention on high-risk accounts
- Builds strong relationships with board members who provide leadership to the commercial associations managed by acting as a trusted advisor, bringing key insights and solutions to specific situations and following through on commitments with honesty and transparency
- Work through, influence and understand the financial and operational goals and objectives for each client including but not limited to developer transition, capital improvement projects, financial challenges, board goals and objectives.
- Ensures compliance with vendor insurance, contract and license requirements on behalf of clients
- Participates with senior leadership to develop business plans and supports the delivery of company initiatives to all direct reports in line with strategic objectives

- Can work well in teams and independently to solve problems, create solutions and operate efficiently

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & LICENSE
College degree preferred
3 or more years of experience in property management, preferably with association and/or commercial experience
Valid Driver's License
Location
This position is remote, however this person must be based in Texas, ideally around Dallas, in order to meet the business needs of our clients. This person must be readily available to travel to in person presentations and meetings with clients, or for property inspections.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is currently a remote position; however this person must be in and around the Dallas / Fort Worth area of Texas in order to get to properties within the Region. Must also be willing to travel to TN, KY, FL, NJ, & GA for property inspections. This is a full-time position with typical scheduled hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Consistent and regular attendance required. Hours over and above normal office hours will be required, based on business needs.
