Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and facilities management, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. This role requires effective leadership skills to supervise a team of maintenance technicians while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot high voltage systems, utilizing voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Fabricate parts as necessary to support maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and maintain schematics for electrical systems, providing clear documentation for future reference.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance management and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance with a strong understanding of facilities management principles.
- Proficiency in using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools for high voltage systems.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting schematics and technical documentation in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software is preferred but not required.
