What are the responsibilities and job description for the Zamboni Operator - Arena Ops position at Foley Entertainment Group LLC?
Job Overview:
The Arena Zamboni Operator will maintain a clean and safe environment for guests. They will maintain the arena’s two ice surfaces, all public areas and be responsible for assisting the Arena Operations Supervisor with minor mechanical equipment maintenance and various day to day tasks, as assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintain an accurate and on time ice schedule by performing routine ice resurfaces
Complete routine maintenance on both ice surfaces
Maintain a clean and safe Zamboni Hangar
Complete routine maintenance on the ice resurfacers
Complete and maintain accurate log books including circle checks, preventative maintenance logs, ice depths logs, ice cut logs, pre-practice checklists, and compressor checks according to the pre-determined daily, weekly and monthly schedules
Open and/or close the building as dictated by the arena Operations Supervisor
Oversee all arena operations in the event a Supervisor is not present
Opportunity to drive Zamboni at T-Mobile Arena for Vegas Golden Knights home games, as to not interfere with work schedule;
Assist in the set-up and strike of special events
Assist in maintaining arena cleanliness
Complete minor repairs throughout the building as needed
Actively seek out projects that will better City National Arena
Assist with any building needs as dictated by the Director of Operations
