Office Services Support - Second Shift
Part Time, M-F 5 pm- 9pm
(Remote - must be local to Elgin, IL area for some in-office training)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to customers to dispatch emergency service calls and provide customers with emergency pricing, answer, screen, and forward calls, provide information, take messages, and send customers requested documents and information.
- First impression care to customers
- Service customers by dispatching emergency calls including pricing, estimated arrival time, creating and dispatching orders and dispatching technicians promptly.
- Service customers by providing product and service information
- Routing customer calls to other team member voicemails for additional support the following day
- De-escalate situations by offering patience and support
- Analyze data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public.
- Provide information to customers about customer location such as the location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.
- Assist in special projects assigned including reports and analyzing data.
- Special handling of customer support by tracking and follow-up information requests.
Job Requirements:
- Call Center or Customer service experience preferred.
- Phone skills, including familiarity with working a multi-line phone system.
- Excellent listening skills and an empathetic voice and manner.
- Minimum typing ability of 30 words per minute.
- Ability to learn and utilize new and existing computer software in a proficient and timely manner.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask while assisting customers.
- Desire and interest to learn about the life safety field. Prior experience in the life safety field is a plus.
- Entry-level knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, or any other specialty system needed to properly perform job functions.

Physical Requirements:
This role is remote with onsite training at our office in Elgin, IL. Sitting at a desk and speaking on the phone, using a computer are typical requirements of this role.
