Shipping Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking detail oriented, task driven individuals to progress and promote within the company. The Shipping Specialist is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of outgoing shipments and merchandise at our company. This position will ensure that all items are picked, processed, and shipped in an organized and timely manner.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise team members

• Ensure that picking and shipping orders are processed efficiently

• Identify and resolve discrepancies

• Monitor workflow and accuracy

• Sort and organize inventory

• Learn new processes and programs as the need arises

• Additional Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• At least 3 years supervisor experience

• Relevant warehouse experience

• Computer Proficiency including Google Suite

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong work ethic

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able and motivated to manage priorities and workflow

• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• It may involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours of the day.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) used in the workplace

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Must be able to pass a background check and substance screening
