POSITION SUMMARY

Ensures deadlines are met, quality is maintained, and operations continue to flow smoothly within the mobile crisis program. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible supervising and monitoring of day-to-day operations of the mobile crisis response program and agency goals and objectives to ensure all program deliverables and milestones are achieved.
- Maintain a detailed and current knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices, with an emphasis on trauma informed care and intervention.
- Demonstrated leadership experience including direct staff management.
- Knowledge of and ability to use appropriate de-escalation and brief therapy techniques.
- Experience in counseling adults, children and adolescents is required.
- Develop program workflows, and staff schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Develop response protocols for the Call4Call and 988 crises lin.
- Ensure continuous quality improvement and program compliance is aligned with all policies and procedures, ethical and legal standards of the agency.
- Oversee implementation and monitoring of the accuracy of program data and reporting; facilitate the completion of all monthly/quarterly reports to city and/or state funders.
- Supervise program fidelity; internal/external audits, corrective action plans, accreditation, and licensure requirements as necessary.
- Partner with Crises Program Manager and HR to hire employees that will support and execute program initiatives and deliverables.
- Provide effective supervision and coaching to staff, prepare annual performance reviews,
- onboarding plans/outlines, develop training tools and overall crises assessments and referral plans.
- Participate in agency meetings and committees as requested.
- Represents the organization at external meetings, associations, conferences, etc.
- Performs other duties as required to include on-call community service work as need.
- Master's degree in Social or Human Service or other related fields degree required, LCSW/LCPC or QMHP/MP preferred.
- A minimum of two years of social work experience; direct client services with at least one year supervisory responsibilities
- Working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care standards, and Illinois
- Division of Mental Health/ Division of Substance Use and Prevention policies and regulation.
- Must be able to demonstrate and articulate a strong working knowledge of service delivery system serving the targeted communities and the targeted population. Must be skilled in working with indigent populations and/or facing mental illness.
