Position Summary
The Receptionist answers the phone in a friendly, helpful manner; directs calls to the appropriate person or department; and greets customers and visitors.
Essential Job Functions
- Answer incoming calls in a pleasant, helpful manner and direct/transfer them to the appropriate person/department.
- Greet and assist customers, visitors, and vendor reps as they arrive; provide vendor reps with a vendor packet.
- Provide callers with information such as company address, directions, fax numbers, website address, etc.
- Notify staff of deliveries to the front desk.
- Enforce PCI compliance by requiring visitors and vendors to sign-in and wear a visitor or vendor badge.
- Maintain AX customer database by completing daily leads distribution and monitoring the Account Management Inbox.
- Utilize SalesForce for customer information management.
- Complete weekly assigned projects dictated by the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations.
- Demonstrate predictable and consistent attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- 1 years of office experience required.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Experience using AX.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Competencies
- Effective team player.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Environment
Work is performed in an office environment with minimal, if any, travel outside of the office. The employee may be required to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is required to sit for extended periods; frequently stand and walk; reach above shoulders; and use standard office equipment, including a computer, telephone, copier, printer, and virtual collaboration software.
