We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated software engineering candidate who is passionate about supporting the U.S. Navy, the Department of Defense, and the vital cause of national security. Our team is paving the way and transforming our customer’s engineering teams through development and maintenance software programs and applications, automation of business processes, and involvement in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
We need your innovative ideas and diverse background to help us envision, shape, and strengthen our customer’s capabilities. We are excited about what we do, and we need you on our team as we take on exciting new challenges in support of the warfighter.
We’re looking for two Summer 2024 interns supporting the Software Engineering Department at $15-$22/hr, in Virginia Beach.
If selected, you will:
- Support and implement software applications and initiatives.
- Work in a team environment, and report to project lead or project manager for technical support, task assignment, and processes.
- Prepare reports as required.
- Interact with other departments, as needed.
- Comply with applicable software development processes and standards.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and perform other duties, as required.
It is preferred for this role that candidates have a background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field either through current enrollment in a degree program or prior work experience.
