Accountant

We are partnered with a long standing client that offers a traditional RIA business and private wealth division seeking a high performer in their Accounting team. This is a highly visible role within the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing financials during periodic closing periods, monthly financial board/partner decks, annual financial statements for tax preparation while coordinating with the Tax team to answer questions.
• Execute tasks as requested, such as supporting the AP/AR team in processing payments, or management by preparing ad hoc analyses and reports.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance by maintaining intercompany payables and receivables balances, preparing reconciliation scheduled, and monitoring company expense reporting.
• Utilize your problem-solving skills to recommend process improvements, provide accounting expertise, and analyze budget variances to recommend corrective actions.
• Channel your attention to detail when monitoring Accounts Receivable balances and report on outstanding receivables and other collection issues
• Employ your skills to efficiently manage and maintain accurate forecasts by assisting in monthly revenue and expense forecast meetings with business leaders.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate or post-graduate degree in accounting
• CPA or CPA eligible candidate (Preferred)
• 2 years of accounting experience
