The Program Management team plays a critical role in the successful execution of Vehicle, Propulsion, and Electrification programs from concept to launch and beyond. As we expand our vehicle portfolio in pursuit of GM's Zero/Zero/Zero vision, the team is seeking qualified candidates for open Program Manager positions to lead exciting programs across the Performance, Luxury, and Retail/Commercial Truck teams.

- Locate, synthesize and make visible customer information and requirements
- Frame and drive product and other decisions balancing customer and business considerations
- Anticipate risk throughout the development process
- Communicate clearly through standalone presentations, leadership reviews, team meetings and 1:1 discussion with senior leaders
- Develop strong teams through effective facilitation

- Facilitates and manages cross-functional vehicle teams in coordination with the Chief Engineer, enabling all participants to contribute to their full potential
- Defines the program strategy, balancing customer and other requirements
- Manages program imperatives, including financial and resource risk assessment
- Develops and manages product content
- Develops materials for Milestone / Gate and other leadership reviews
- Manages issues and uncertainties through effective decision framing and driving for resolution
- Integrate inputs from stakeholders, while representing program management
- Maintains effectiveness in changing environments and with different technologies, people responsibilities and/or markets
- Makes presentation to all levels of management

Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years experience
- History of developing and driving high performance teams
- Evidence of strong framing and communication skills
- Understanding of many aspects of the business: including knowledge of Portfolio Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Finance, Design and Planning
- Extensive understanding of the GM's organization, resources, and functions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Planning, Program Manager or related cross functional experience
- Technical or Business undergraduate degree preferred
- MBA or equivalent preferred
