Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assisting Adjunct Instructor to join our esteemed team in a remote capacity. This role is essential for nurturing students’ academic growth and empowering them to pursue fulfilling careers in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging online courses within the Medical Assisting program.
• Facilitate live Zoom sessions bi-weekly to promote interactive learning experiences.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to provide office hours and individualized support for students.
• Offer timely and constructive feedback on quizzes, tests, and projects, aiding students in tracking their progress.
• Proactively reach out to at-risk students to foster engagement and enhance academic performance.
• Keep precise records of student attendance and performance, submitting final grades according to academic standards.
• Attend team meetings and partake in professional development and training initiatives.
• Stay informed on advancements in the Medical Assisting field to enhance instructional methods.
• Carry out additional responsibilities consistent with the faculty role and institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health or a related field required.
• A Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Allied Health Management, Public Health, Medical Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a comparable role.
• Preferred certifications include CCMA, CMAA, CMA (AAMA), or RMA.
• Previous experience with online teaching is advantageous.
