Key Responsibilities

• Provide dynamic and interactive instruction within a remote learning format.
• Develop and distribute course materials and syllabi in alignment with established academic policies and course frameworks.
• Encourage insightful class discussions, nurture a supportive educational atmosphere, and evaluate student performance.
• Leverage technology effectively to enhance communication and learning outcomes.
• Utilize the designated learning management system for assignment submissions and assessments.
• Maintain regular office hours to guide and mentor students.
• Collaborate with fellow academic professionals to ensure uniformity and excellence in educational delivery.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a relevant academic discipline or sub-field pertaining to the courses you intend to teach.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related field with:
• A minimum of 18 graduate hours specific to the teaching discipline.
• Or, a minimum of 6 graduate hours in the discipline alongside significant teaching experience.
• At least two years or four academic terms of teaching experience at the collegiate level or equivalent Advanced Placement experience.
• Alternatively, five years of discipline-specific teaching experience at the secondary level (grades 7-12) with a valid professional teaching license acknowledged by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
