Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging, hands-on activities aligned with our curriculum and educational standards.
- Support child development by assisting children in reaching developmental milestones, conducting observations, and facilitating schoolwork or remote learning.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children, maintaining a supportive and secure environment for both children and families.
- Collaborate effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff members to address the needs of every child in our care.
- As a Floater, begin in an assigned classroom and provide support across various classrooms as needed, adapting lesson plans to meet daily requirements.
- Prior experience working with children (as a teacher, instructor, or in other settings) is advantageous.
- Knowledge or experience in early childhood education.
- Expertise in curriculum or lesson planning.
- Strong communication skills and positive discipline techniques.
- Flexibility in scheduling and adaptability to changing circumstances.
- A foundational understanding of child development and early learning standards is preferred, but not required.
- Customer service skills for fostering positive interactions with families are beneficial.
- Proficiency with basic computer skills and effective time management.
