We are in search of a Business Development Manager to lead the entire sales process, from initial lead generation to final closure, while collaborating closely with our marketing team to develop innovative campaigns aimed at attracting new clientele and fortifying relationships with existing partners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for relationship-building and strategic planning, aligning with our mission to foster growth in the medical and life sciences sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage business engagements for both new and existing clients, consistently meeting or exceeding designated revenue targets.
  • Generate and qualify leads through proactive prospecting initiatives.
  • Design and present persuasive sales presentations tailored to meet client requirements.
  • Craft clear and impactful Statements of Work for prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing to strategize and execute lead generation campaigns, including creative outreach initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential partnerships and project opportunities within organizations and startups.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, engaging with professionals across diverse time zones.
  • Work alongside leadership to formulate and implement sales strategies and plans that align with organizational objectives.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in business development within software development sales.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office, and networking platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client presentations and documentation.
  • Familiarity with software development in regulated environments is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role, specifically within software development sales.
  • Demonstrated success in managing the full sales cycle consistently.
