Job Overview

We are actively seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Enterprise Applications to spearhead the strategy, development, and operational management of critical IT domains encompassing Business Systems, Clinical & Trial Operations Applications, Integrations, Data Warehousing, Data Security, and Systems Architecture. This pivotal role necessitates effective oversight of business and clinical applications’ development and enhancement, application integration management, and ensuring proficient database administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Partner with IT leadership to formulate and implement strategies for application management, resource planning, and platform utilization that promote business expansion and operational efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a geographically distributed team, emphasizing performance management and fostering a cooperative work atmosphere.
• Process Improvement: Champion ongoing enhancements in software development, database administration, and system integrations. Strive for process excellence and introduce innovative solutions.
• Project Management: Oversee and direct multiple high-priority projects, ensuring the timely completion of deliverables in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Service Delivery: Develop and refine service delivery models to align business requirements with technological solutions.
• Resource Planning: Determine essential resources, establish timelines, and guarantee project completion in accordance with established expectations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with business and management teams to establish project objectives and scope, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Technical Oversight: Manage development, systems/database administration, and integrations, ensuring adherence to standards and licensing agreements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the proficiency to address complex challenges.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical trial operations and technological solutions within the healthcare sector.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Expertise in product management, business analysis, and process optimization.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies and Data Architecture/Design.
• Proficiency in technologies such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Clinical Trial Management Applications, and various systems utilized in the CRO industry.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and conflict resolution abilities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or a related discipline; a Master's Degree in Information Systems or Business Administration is advantageous but equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a direct management role.
