Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, introducing new functionalities and phasing out outdated ones to align with business goals and customer expectations.
- Regularly publish and update the product roadmap, ensuring it accurately reflects strategic priorities and securing stakeholder approval.
- Maintain an organized and prioritized product backlog with actionable user stories and acceptance criteria that resonate with sprint goals and overall organizational aims.
- Develop comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that provide clear direction for engineering and design teams.
- Measure product performance, assess success metrics, and communicate progress to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to formulate effective positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that foster product adoption and growth.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as PCI, CCPA, and HIPAA, as necessary.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to identify areas for product differentiation.
- Conduct competitive analysis and share findings to highlight opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Over 7 years of experience in Product Management, with a proven track record in writing PRDs, managing backlogs, and working with cross-functional teams.
- Extensive knowledge of payment technologies, including gateways, transaction workflows, fraud prevention, and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as tokenization and authentication protocols, as well as compliance requirements (e.g., PCI).
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a varied audience effectively.
- Proficiency in drafting user stories, PRDs, and facilitating backlog refinement.
- Strong advocacy for users throughout the product lifecycle.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required; a Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration is an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a background in managing system architecture and technical trade-offs.
