Job Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) to become a part of our esteemed team as a Telehealth Counselor. This fully remote role presents an opportunity to deliver essential mental and behavioral health services to clients aged six and above. If you are a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a strong passion for facilitating positive change and providing top-notch care through telehealth, we encourage you to reach out!

Key Responsibilities

• Telehealth Counseling: Facilitate individual and family therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring clients experience empathetic, high-quality care in a safe and comfortable virtual setting.
• Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to ascertain clients' mental health requirements and collaboratively devise tailored treatment plans aimed at fulfilling their objectives.
• Client Engagement: Establish and nurture supportive connections with clients, creating a secure space for expression while upholding professional boundaries and adhering to ethical standards.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate, timely, and complete documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and required paperwork, in compliance with legal and ethical mandates.
• Remote Case Management: Partner with healthcare providers, agencies, and community resources to deliver coordinated, holistic care and support to clients.
• Professional Development: Remain abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the mental health sector. Engage in relevant training, workshops, and supervision to refine your expertise and knowledge.
• Licensing and Credentialing: Complete all necessary documentation for licensing and credentialing in Louisiana within 30-45 days of joining our team, ensuring alignment with state regulations.
• Compliance: Adhere to all pertinent laws, regulations, and internal policies governing mental health services, including maintaining confidentiality and privacy standards to protect client information.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital tools for remote service delivery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, particularly in virtual counseling contexts.
• Capability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively within a remote team environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related discipline.
• Valid and active licensure in Louisiana as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
• Experience working with a diverse clientele, including children and adolescents, in a therapeutic setting.
