Job Overview

We are in search of an exceptionally organized and innovative Event Marketer to become a vital part of our Marketing team. This position is ideal for an individual who is enthusiastic about designing engaging experiences that enhance brand visibility and foster lead generation. The Event Marketer will take charge of the comprehensive planning and execution of webinars, field marketing initiatives, and corporate events, ensuring every project aligns seamlessly with our marketing objectives and yields quantifiable results. You will have the chance to express your creativity, analytical skills, and data-driven mindset, while maintaining a strong focus on efficient processes for event logistics and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically plan, promote, and implement webinars aimed at educating and engaging target markets.
• Collaborate with content, product, and sales teams to create captivating webinar themes and secure knowledgeable speakers.
• Manage various webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom, On24) to guarantee flawless execution.
• Monitor registration, attendance, and engagement metrics; evaluate outcomes to enhance future initiatives.
• Organize and conduct regional in-person events such as roadshows, meetups, and lunch-and-learns.
• Partner with sales and regional teams to pinpoint key markets and target attendees.
• Oversee event logistics, including selection of venues, catering arrangements, signage, and on-site organization.
• Develop follow-up strategies to convert attendees into potential leads and customers.
• Lead the planning and execution of large-scale corporate events, encompassing trade shows, conferences, and company-hosted summits.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of event goals with overall marketing strategies.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and timelines to ensure events are executed on time and within established parameters.
  
  

Required Skills

• Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing, including at least one year focused on events marketing.
• Strong passion for planning, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to well-structured processes.
• Exceptional communication skills and natural leadership abilities, comfortable engaging with sales teams, vendors, executives, and community leaders.
• Proficient in marketing attribution, metrics, and reporting; responsible for ensuring event objectives correlate with business goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with lead generation is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and/or open-source technologies as well as related events is beneficial.
• Knowledge of marketing technologies such as Hubspot, On24, Zoominfo preferred.
• Previous experience in a remote/distributed startup environment is a valuable asset.
