Key Responsibilities

• Manage a defense litigation caseload independently, overseeing all stages from initiation to resolution, which includes dispositive motions, mediation, resolution negotiations, or trial.
• Engage collaboratively with fellow attorneys and partners on a variety of legal projects.
• Frequently attend court appearances and depositions.
• Maintain open communication with clients, providing them with updates and strategic legal advice.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in deposition preparation, trial preparation, and motion practice.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with paper discovery, depositions, and report writing.
• Capability to manage a caseload autonomously.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, with a preference for those with professional liability experience.

Compensation And Benefits

• Salary Range: \(125,000—\)145,000 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
