Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end real estate lifecycle, including site prospecting, lease negotiations, and the transformation of spaces to ensure they are member-ready, while maintaining adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate closely with our strategy and finance teams to identify, evaluate, and recommend potential new locations for the next three years.
- Directly engage with local brokers, landlords, and property management to negotiate and finalize Letters of Intent (LOIs) and leases that align with organizational goals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for operational management and maintenance needs of locations once they are fully operational.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure the delivery of timely and budget-conscious member-ready facilities, overseeing any necessary buildouts, tenant improvements, and other requirements.
- Analyze market trends and demographic data to inform site selection and portfolio adjustments.
- Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in financial modeling and data analytics tools.
- Proven ability to lead cross-departmental initiatives to achieve strict timelines and deliverables.
- Exceptional negotiation skills for lease agreements.
- Strong presentation abilities to effectively communicate compelling narratives and value propositions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage and motivate team members.
- Familiarity with GIS mapping tools, demographic data sources, and real estate management software is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience leading an enterprise or corporate real estate function.
- At least 8 years of experience in real estate roles, with both brokerage and corporate experience preferred.
- Previous experience in people management is preferred.
- Background in a high-growth, multi-state healthcare environment is strongly favored.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant local, state, and federal regulations regarding healthcare facility placement.
