Position Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Business Unit: US Residential Lending
- Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension and conversion)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
- Location: Hybrid - Lewiston, ME (2 to 3 days in the office, with the potential for full remote work based on performance)
- Execute administrative tasks associated with loan servicing
- Utilize judgment and discretion in routine operations
- Review and verify the accuracy of work completed by colleagues
- Conduct preliminary investigations on potential discrepancies and report findings
- Record entries in the general ledger and ensure accuracy
- Aid in the development and maintenance of departmental budgets
- Identify, audit, and investigate discrepancies within the department
- Address inquiries and resolve issues from customers and internal teams
- Follow up diligently to rectify discrepancies and customer concerns
- Proficient understanding of loan documentation
- Strong capabilities in Excel and data entry
- Basic familiarity with lending practices and the real estate sector
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting processes and procedures
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of loan documents is essential
- Experience in banking and loan servicing is preferred, though not mandatory
