Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic financial partner for our distribution facilities, driving cost improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop Field Finance Analysts, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
• Navigate complex expense issues and allocations while advising the Field Finance Manager.
• Oversee the monthly close process, including expense accruals, financial analysis, and P&L ownership.
• Manage expenses across multiple multi-customer locations.
• Lead ad-hoc projects, encompassing system and site changes.
• Create financial reports utilizing established tools.
• Prepare journal entries and accrual information to ensure accurate monthly statements.
• Conduct monthly P&L variance analysis and present insights to Operations leadership.
• Monitor performance against budgetary expectations and identify cost-saving avenues.
• Assist Customer Operations with the invoicing process.
• Participate in customer financial reviews, clarifying variances and classifications.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Operations and Finance/Accounting teams.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant financial or accounting experience.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical capabilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams and Operations partners.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, particularly during financial closes.
• Adaptable with a positive approach to change.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
