Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a logistics authority by coordinating and overseeing the scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of drayage shipments from ports to warehouses, rail ramps, and final destinations.
• Enhance operational efficiency by constantly monitoring and analyzing dispatch processes to identify improvements and implement cost-saving strategies.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and port officials to facilitate seamless operations and surpass client expectations.
• Uphold compliance with all transportation laws, safety standards, and internal policies.
• Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to team members, fostering a supportive work environment.
• Remain informed about emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices in drayage and logistics management.
• Partner with sales teams to uncover and expand new business opportunities.
  
  

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience in import/export drayage, ideally with a steamship line, drayage carrier, or freight forwarder.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building robust relationships with clients and carriers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to efficiently identify and resolve challenges.
