Job Summary
Assists with duties and tasks associated with payroll.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Prepare timesheets accurately and promptly for payroll processing.
- Verify that all time-off requests have received managerial approval.
- Input payroll data, including salary adjustments, special payments, taxes, and employee deductions.
- Submit and reconcile payroll, ensuring accuracy in salary, overtime, benefits, taxes, 401(k), deductions, bonuses, and other adjustments prior to payroll submission.
- Enter data into the HRIS system for new hires, terminations, and other employee updates.
- Request off-cycle paychecks, including those required for compliance with state final pay regulations.
- Stay informed about federal and state regulations and updates that impact payroll processes.
- Serve as the company’s payroll subject matter expert.
- Communicate proactively with G&A Partners’ payroll team regarding payroll-related activities.
- Assist employees with updating personal information, such as direct deposit details, federal/state tax setup, contact information, and addresses.
- Respond to employee payroll-related questions and resolve issues; manage managerial payroll inquiries as well.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience and Education
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Manages basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
- Requires a high school diploma and 3 to 5 years of experience.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite are required.
- Experience utilizing enterprise resource planning ERP or HRIS software, i.e., Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP software, Workday software

Certificates & Licenses
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certifications preferred.
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
