Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of case management professionals, providing clinical expertise and guidance
- Drive operational excellence through supervision of daily case management activities
- Ensure compliance with InterQual criteria and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and resource utilization
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance through regular shadowing and documentation audits
- Oversee department scheduling, staffing, and educational initiatives
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics tracking
- Serve as department leader in Director's absence
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (Bachelor's in Nursing preferred)
- Current RN license in state of practice or active compact license
- 3 years of clinical nursing case management experience in acute care setting
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and case management principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Case Management Certification
- InterQual/IQCI Certification
- Experience with healthcare quality metrics and process improvement
