Accounts Payable Manager Full -Time

We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join our dynamic team! to provide leadership to our Accounts Payable department. The role's primary responsibility will be to manage, train and supervise the accounts' payable function. This is a Remote position; however, preference will be given to CST and EST applicants. $74K - $84K staring salary range.The Accounts Payable manager has a strong understanding of the accounts payable process, is detail-oriented, and possesses excellent leadership skills Greene & Greene, Certified Public Accountants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing, training, and supervising the accounts payable function and accounts payable specialists in the organization.
• Review data entries of invoices, payments, and summaries prepared by accounts payables specialists.

• Developing, implementing and maintaining systems, and following established accounts payable procedures.
• Ensuring timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintaining accurate records and control reports.
• Managing monthly closing of accounts payable and posting of month-end information, ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
• Responds to accounts payable questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Selecting and hiring accounts payable staff, and training them to ensure efficient operation of the accounts payable function.
• Reviewing and reconciling supplier statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a multi-state environment.
• Proficient in ERP software; NetSuite experience preferred.

• Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (accrual basis accounting), practices, and procedures.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and various departments.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Good math and communications skills.
