Pay: $16 - $18, DOE
Schedule: Full time, overtime available
Benefits available after 60 days!
Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist role is to manage all payables to vendors, obtain discounts, reconciling and managing vendor relationships while providing support to the Controller and CFO.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Paying vendors
- Reconciling vendor and credit card statements
- Cash flow management
- Relations between vendors and sub-contractors
- Daily trips to the post office and bank to pick up and mail out checks
- Some negotiating for discounts on bills
- Answering phones when the receptionist is unavailable
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-year experience in an accounting function
- 2-3 years office experience or Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Excel
- Experience with lien releases (preferred, not necessary)
