Job Summary
The Inside Sales Account Manager – Eastern United States is responsible for developing and executing Sales and Marketing strategies to grow the company's commercial A/V business in the region. The Inside Sales Account Manager will own the responsibility of helping to achieve the pre-determined target revenue goals for the region. This includes identifying and qualifying new customers, developing proposals, and closing deals. Additionally, the Inside Sales Account Manager will assist and support relationships with territory Distributor’s and Manufacturing rep firms as needed. This includes assisting, managing and training partner sales teams. The Inside Sales Account Manager will own the relationship with new and existing customers and business partners and will be responsible for the day-to-day management, communication, and general support of those customers and partners. This will include marketing initiatives, long-term project development and sales growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, as well as a strong understanding of the A/V industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies for the region both sales and marketing
- Identify and qualify new customers
- Develop proposals and close deals
- Develop and grow relationships with distribution and rep partners
- Process sales orders and coordinate order status with customers
- Build relationships with key decision-makers in the A/V industry
- Stay up to date on industry trends and developments
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Track and report on sales and marketing performance
- Understanding the needs and requirements of prospective buyers and assigning opportunities to sales executives for further development
- Work within allotted travel, sales and marketing budgets
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: advance sales opportunities from qualified leads to closed revenue
- Maintain a comprehensive record of sales actions within CRM system
- Work cross-functionally to ensure full customer service and improve sell-side opportunities

Required Education and Experience
- Proven inside sales experience
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field sales experience
- 4 years of experience in sales development, preferably in the A/V industry
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time field sales/work remote position, 8am-5pm or similar is typical. Local and National travel may be required. Territory is Eastern United States. Position must be based out of the company headquarters in Dallas Texas.
