Product Development Project Manager

Basic Function

The PD Project Manager will support the Senior Vice President of Product Sales & Product Development and the Product Development Sales Team with curating concepts for trade shows and specific brands. This role is a key support role to all sales peers within HCT Beauty’s turn-key business division. The ability to handle multiple projects, change priorities, and think critically and independently while helping the department is a must.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Vice President of Product Sales & Product Development on formula concepts in partnership with HCT’s approved suppliers for both trade show collections and customized brand presentations.
• Utilize independent discretion to collaborate with packaging teams on the most suitable packaging for formulas selected for trade show collections.
• Coordinate product marketing points and mailings for unique sales pieces.
• Create, organize, maintain, and track all product submissions including final approvals, product standards, and files
• Manage multiple and changing timelines for the development of new product concepts.
• Collaborate with Senior Vice President of Product Sales & Product Development on collection presentations to introduce new products. Presentations focus on product offerings and their respective marketing benefits.
• Support Sales in creating custom product presentations year-round for customers/brands.
• Respond to internal and customer inquiries, issues, and requests in a quick and efficient manner.
• Track trends and follow industry development to help build ideas for new concepts.
• Evaluate products on an ongoing basis to be fluent with products’ performances and what sets them apart from others.
• Help build HCT library of customized formulas
• Attend off-site customer meetings / retail stores / trade shows / industry group meetings as required.
• Other duties as requested.

Requirements:

• Preferably Bachelor Degree

• Product Development experience (in the Beauty Industry)

• 2-4yrs Cosmetic Product Development experience
• Oral and written communication skills
• Creative thinker, Self-starter, independent
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task
• Ability to determine priorities and re-prioritize as needed to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
