The Heffernan Insurance Brokers Visual Designer will manage visual design projects for the corporate communications team and all Heffernan Group (HG) entities. This high-visibility role demands an organized and effective communicator capable of managing multiple, detail-rich projects simultaneously. The Visual Designer will collaborate with a variety of internal departments and teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and impactful marketing materials that align with brand identity for each HG entity.

Responsibilities Include :

Work with HG teams to understand their goals and initiatives and collaborate to produce materials that will support department / team initiatives.
Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic.
Design and produce high quality marketing materials - including print and digital advertisements, newsletters, brochures, flyers, logos, and more.
Produce promotional materials and signage for companywide events.
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
Work with advertisers for timely ad submissions.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design quality.
Assist in the development and maintenance of company websites and other digital assets.
Assist with vendor management regarding output and production of booth signage and promotional collateral.
Support with ongoing development of company branding for all HG wholly owned entities.
Other duties and special projects as required to support marketing and communications initiatives.

Requirements :

High School graduate / GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred in graphic design, or related field.

Minimum five years working experience as a visual designer or in a related field.

Demonstrated visual design skills and creativity with a strong portfolio.

Proficiency with desktop publishing tools, namely Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.

Wide degree of creativity and latitude expected. Experienced in visual design concepts.

Effective time management skills required, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Must be comfortable handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and be able to adapt with changes in direction, and ambiguity.

Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.

Professional demeanor and behavior are required, as referenced in Heffernan core values (Habits).

Compensation :

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000. The offer will depend on the geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
