Groundskeeper/Grounds Maintenance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Groundskeeper/Grounds Maintenance worker to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our properties. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping outdoor and common areas well-kept, ensuring a welcoming environment for tenants, residents, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, and green spaces.
• Remove trash and debris from the property, including emptying outdoor trash bins and ensuring proper disposal.
• Perform routine landscaping tasks, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, watering plants, and weeding flower beds.
• Conduct seasonal maintenance, including leaf removal, snow removal, and salting walkways during winter months.
• Inspect and report any damages, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
• Clean and maintain common areas, including entrances, hallways, stairwells, and shared outdoor spaces.
• Assist with basic upkeep of property fixtures, such as benches, fences, and walkways.
• Ensure cleaning and landscaping equipment is properly maintained and stored.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and good time management skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Other: Reliable truck, drivers license and automobile insurance. A positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call

Work Location: In person
