Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead our human resources strategy and operations. This role will be responsible for overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation, benefits, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of California labor laws and a passion for building a positive, high-performance workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and best practices that align with business goals.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent while fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, handling employee relations issues with fairness and professionalism.
- Performance Management & Development: Oversee performance evaluations, career development initiatives, and leadership training programs.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage salary structures, benefits programs, and employee incentives to stay competitive in the industry.
- Culture & Engagement: Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace satisfaction.
- HR Operations & Analytics: Utilize HR data to assess workforce trends, measure effectiveness of HR initiatives, and make data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing, consumer goods, or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
- Ability to build and implement HR policies and programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
