Position Summary
This position combines coordination of day-to-day business operations and clerical tasks in support of the Sales and Leadership teams, while also working directly with upper management to enhance brand awareness. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth office operations, supporting daily business activities, executing brand sales strategies, and engaging with customers in-person and via social media. The role involves scheduling and executing in-person demos, representing the brand at promotions and events, and acting as the public-facing representative in the designated territory.
Essential Functions
- Conduct in-store and event demonstrations to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Actively engage customers, offer promotional materials, and educate on product benefits.
- Set up, break down, and sample products during events.
- Coordinate event logistics and product transport.
- Provide administrative support to management, including data entry, A/P and A/R tracking, and cash management.
- Assist with filing, document organization, and maintaining office supplies.
- Maintain expert knowledge of products and industry regulations.
- Stay updated on cannabis laws and standards to ensure compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and answering questions.
- Maintain an organized workspace and assist with errands (local only).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older and pass required background checks. Must remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
- Minimum 1 year in support position.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Reliable transportation required for regional travel to multiple retail locations.
- Ability to safely load and carry up to 20 lbs. of product samples and promotional materials.
- Must maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance and demonstrate professionalism when interacting with coworkers, distributors, retail reps, and consumers.
- Proven success in sales calls, demos, on-premise sales, and merchandising strategies. Must have a strong understanding of executing successful events.
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. The work for this position is performed in a laboratory/warehouse setting and is sometimes hot or cold depending on the weather outside.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 20 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
