Head of Project Managers / Manager of Production | New York City
We have a new opportunity with a small design and build business in New York City.
The role is for a head of project management and/or manager of production, responsibilities include supervising all project managers within the business as well as all production matters. The individual will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, dealing with subcontractors, trades and payment. The business typically has between 30-40 projects simultaneously ongoing of which all at different stages, sizes and values.
The suitable candidate must be someone who has extensive hands on experience and knowledge within the NYC residential field. It is imperative that the individual has strong management and organisation skills in order to be a good fit for this exec level role. Notable skills include being capable of motivating the team on a daily basis and keeping everyone accountable.

The business is a forward-thinking and modern construction firm and due to this they are open minded about the type of individual that is successful within this role, meaning that it can be anyone who matches any of the following criteria’s:
- An individual who’s got a project management background and has been in a managerial role within a construction company as of most recent,
- Someone who has been running their own construction company for a considerable time and is keen to return to a perm role,
- An individual who is extremely smart and able to demonstrate this with no direct construction experience however has managerial and organisation experience within another related field such as architecture.
Due to the seniority of this role there is a negotiable salary on offer depending on experience and capabilities of which can only be disclosed to suitable and interested individuals. This position requires individuals to be based full-time within the office.
