Title: Employee Relations Specialist
Duration: 4 – 6 months contract
Location: 100 Abbott Park Road Abbott Park IL 60064
Shift time: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Job description:
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Executes the delivery of services to provide a single point of contact for efficiently providing highly accessible expert Employee Relations.
- Interfaces across multiple businesses and or countries and ensures compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, policies and practices.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Provides expert consultative and problem-solving services to managers, employees and other HR functions regarding HR policies and practices.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant country laws, regulations, policies and practices.
- Assists OEC and Security with investigations related to Employee Relations issues.
- Effectively and accurately maintains confidential ER data in both systems and paper files.
- Ensures professional service is provided at all times in accordance wit the ER Service Level Agreement. Executes elements of a defined project.
- Independently resolves Tier 1 cases, and manages Tier 2 with guidance from manager Understands customer’s business and ER requirements.
- Proactively brings forward solutions to address business requirements. Meets defined ER service level agreement.
- Implements solutions as directed.
- When a problem has been identified, seeks help of others to resolve the issue. Completes project tasks within time and budget as directed.
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or Employee Relations related field
Experience/Background
Minimum 2 year
2 – 4 years prior HR experience. Some business experience preferred.
Salary : $46 - $48
