Summary
The Human Resources Generalist I supports all HR functions such as Pay & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HRIS and Employee Relations. The positions will improve/enhance, build, and maintain a work environment through effective leadership and building strong relationships across the organization. The Human Resources Generalist will also provide administrative support to the C-Suite through internal and external systems while managing other HR related tasks. In addition, HR/GA support will be provided for additional tasks and duties as they are assigned.
Responsibilities
Assist with collecting new hire paperwork and entering employee information into HRIS
Source potential candidates from various online channels (i.e., social media and professional platforms
Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates
Screen incoming resumes and application forms
Interview candidates
Advertise job openings on the company’s careers page, social media, job boards, and internally
Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
Assist in employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations as needed.
Perform office duties: answer, screen, and forward incoming calls, filing
Follow human resources best practices
Assist with planning and execution of special events such as employee travel, company-wide meetings, employee recognition events, etc.
Provide other administrative support as necessary, including maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resources information
Other job duties as assigned by your supervisor as needed

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field required
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Handle administrative responsibilities in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience with ADP & SAP software and benefits systems is preferred
- Requires the ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential business and team member information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer and Microsoft Excel skills are required
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support
