Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a customer-focused mindset. This role involves a variety of tasks that support the daily operations of our office, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting with data entry and providing exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Assist with answering and directing inbound phone calls and greeting and assisting visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist with both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling, and dispatch as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft365 apps for document creation, spreadsheet management, and communication.
- Provide administrative support to team members as needed, including filing and organizing documents.
- Support personal assistant duties as required, helping with various tasks to enhance office productivity.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrates punctuality and reliability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Previous experience in an office environment is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective data entry and file management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in an administrative setting.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying tasks and responsibilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
