Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle reservations and inquiries via phone systems, email, and in-person interactions.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest concerns and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Perform required accounting, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management.
- Maintain organized records of guest interactions and transactions in the hotel management system.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Assist with special requests or arrangements for guests, including multilingual support when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality management role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling phone systems effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is an advantage but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude, professional appearance, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
