Hometown BBQ Miami is looking to hire an EVENT & CATERING SALES MANAGER to join our team in Miami, FL. This is a full-time, salaried position that also includes bonus incentives and commission.

The Opportunity:
If you’re the kind of person who likes to plan a party, you’re speaking our language. We’re currently seeking an exuberant Catering Sales Manager to join our team. Skills necessary include developing creative ways to maximize profit and achieve set revenue goals, supporting the financial, business and marketing objectives for meetings and events on and off premises, and cultivating relationships with clients, vendors, and other South Florida hospitality experts.

About you: Passionate about hospitality and food & beverage.
A natural salesperson and an ability to build relationships.
A strong ability to communicate with clients and staff. Self-confident with an ability to recognize there are always ways to improve quality and services.
A knowledge of recruiting, training, motivating, and managing personnel.
Ability to keep a cool head under pressure and an ability to find resolution to problems professionally and efficiently.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and display sound judgment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Restaurant experience a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
