Position Overview: The primary purpose of this position is to lead transformative educational programs that empower families in affordable housing communities to achieve academic success and personal growth. This role requires excellent judgment, communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of educational program development.
*This is a temporary, six-month position with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement year-round site-based educational programming. Examples may include after-school tutoring programs, summer camp, school break activities, back-to-school initiatives, and academic enrichment events.
- Support literacy initiatives to promote children reaching grade-level reading proficiency, including early childhood education, reading interventions, and family literacy programs.
- Track and evaluate program outcomes using established metrics.
- Manage program budget and resources.
- Provide simultaneous strengths-based case management for families.
- Develop individualized family stabilization plans.
- Facilitate crisis intervention using trauma-informed approaches.
- Connect families with educational and community resources (examples may include attending trade schools, applying for financial aid, college fairs, employment skill training, GED support, computer skills training, signing up for early childhood education and pre-school enrollment).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local schools and educational organizations.
- Develop and manage volunteer programs (recruitment, training, and retention).
- Represent Housing Catalyst at community meetings and events.
- Identify and secure grant opportunities for educational programming.
- Contribute to grant proposals and impact reports.
- Maintain detailed program data and outcome measurements.
- Generate monthly/quarterly reports on program effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Manage program scheduling, including evening and weekend activities.
- Work flexible hours, to support program activities and family needs. Hours are typically Monday – Friday from 9 AM – 6 PM with occasional evenings or Saturdays.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in education program development
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

Compensation and Benefits:
- Initial Hiring Range: $28.85 - $34.67 hourly
- Expected Salary Range: $28.85 - $37.65 hourly
- Training Range (for candidates with unfulfilled qualifications): $25.71 - $28.70 hourly

Residency Requirement
Our work at Housing Catalyst is all about community. Therefore, we consider it critical that our team members are part of the community we serve. For that reason, we require that the incumbent be a resident of Larimer or Weld County. In cases where candidates are not currently residing in this area, we accommodate up to a six month timeframe for relocation. Limited exceptions may be made under extenuating circumstances.

Salary : $26 - $29
