We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Activities Director to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
- Facilitate recreational therapy sessions that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Coordinate events and outings that encourage community involvement and resident participation.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure activities align with individual care plans.
- Provide support and assistance to residents during activities, fostering an inclusive environment.
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback to continuously improve programming.
- Train and supervise volunteers or activity aides in delivering quality programs.
- Engage with families to encourage their involvement in activities and gather input on resident preferences.
Qualifications
- Experience in recreational therapy or a related field is preferred.
- Strong background in caring for individuals with disabilities, dementia care, or senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with residents of varying backgrounds.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
