DEFINITION
This position is in the Economic Development division of the County Administrative Office.
What You'll Do:
- Budget: Assist in development and monitoring of EcDev budget including journals for financial transactions, ensuring accurate and current records.
- Accounts Payable: Enter accounts payable invoices into the finance system. Manage invoices including but not limited to verification, payment, and record maintenance for AT&T bills. Prepare and process division CalCard packets.
- Agenda items: Prepare and review agenda items for EcDev division.
- Contract renewals: Manage and process renewals for various services and contracts.
- Other: Assist in the development and implementation of division goals, objectives and policies. Provide front-line customer service by answering phones and greeting visitors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently. Coordinate and arrange travel plans for staff, including booking transportation and accommodations.

- Plans and organizes administrative studies relating to the activities or operations of the departments or functional areas to which assigned.

- May be accountable for assembling information and presenting it to the media.

PROBATIONARY PERIOD
Persons appointed to regular County positions serve a probationary period. This is normally six (6) months but could be up to one (1) year. All designated safety employees serve a one-year probationary period.
