Job Overview
Hunter Bay Coffee Roasters, in Lolo, MT is searching for a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for shipping roasted coffee, and ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems and possess strong skills in shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and documenting items according to company standards.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update records as necessary.
- Assist in picking and packing orders for distribution while maintaining accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve any discrepancies related to shipments or inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
