What are the responsibilities and job description for the AREA IT SUPPORT ANALYST position at Hyatt Regency Savannah?
Summary
The Information Technology Analyst will support three area hotel properties: Hyatt Regency Savannah, Andaz Savannah, and Thompson Savannah. This role will report to local Area IT Manager and will be responsible for handling Tier 1 & 2 support tickets, requests, and activities. This candidate will interact with hotel colleagues on all levels to provide prompt answers, provide assistance, and resolve Tier 1 & 2 IT related issues in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have extreme attention to detail, proven troubleshooting skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple platforms.
Essential Functions:
- Provide level 1 & 2 support for all colleague requests for hotel systems and applications using internal ticketing system
- Assist in supporting and maintaining local area network for 3 hotel properties
- Schedule and perform regular software and hardware maintenance
- Follow appropriate company standards of PC imaging, configurations and software installations
- Establish priorities for daily, weekly, and monthly projects and related tasks based on business needs to meet deadlines
- Apply or assist in operating system patches, application updates, and approved corporate software tools for Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems
- Maintain internal software/hardware inventory systems
- Assist with general IT needs as directed from the Area IT manager

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of related IT experience
- Associates degree in computer science, MIS, or related field preferred
- CompTIA A , CompTIA Network or equivalent IT certifications preferred
- Candidates must have knowledge of Microsoft 10; Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019; Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Active Directory; Basic knowledge of IP networking protocols and standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking capabilities
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Candidates must be detail oriented
- Possess a superior level of computer knowledge
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds, including the ability to bend and stoop
